Rosavtodor reduced construction costs of a by-pass road of Sochi by 23.4%

A statement from Avtodor said that leveraging the construction project of Sochi’s main by-pass road, Kurortny Prospekt, led to a 23.4% reduction in construction costs, from 116.6 to 89.3 billion roubles. The Kurortny Prospekt is to mitigate a major part of the city’s traffic flow. This is one of the few Olympic construction projects that will be used for guest and participant transportation for the 2014 Winter Olympics. (RIA Novosti, 09/1/2010)
