More than 500 billion roubles to be spent on road construction and repairs in 2011

Oleg Belozerov, deputy minister of transport of the Russian Federation, named this figure during a conference on the development of the Russian Federation’s transport system held in the Council of the Federation.
Mr Belozerov explained that 387 billion roubles will be allocated from the federal budget, and the remaining sum will be made up from funds from regional budgets and additional revenue from excise duties on oil products. (RosBusinessConsulting, 23/09/2010).
